Council responsibilities
The council is an advisory group of subject matter experts around the university who are responsible for establishing and enforcing the university websites policy, as well as addressing university website concerns or questions. The council meets every quarter to review the policy implementation and facilitate web governance discussions.
- Develops, implements, and revises the policy.
- Monitors compliance with this policy to keep designated roles accountable.
- Investigates and resolves potential policy violations.
- Educates employees about web policies through communication, support and resources.
- Documents and records policy-related documents and databases.
- Approves domain names and third-party domains.
