The Now at Ohio State podcast features senior leaders, faculty members, researchers and other members of the university community discussing topics that are highly relevant to members of the local, state and national communities.
Through its first four episodes, promotional efforts for the podcast resulted in over 570,000 impressions across paid and organic efforts. The podcast received nearly 1,000 plays on osu.edu, Apple and Google podcasts and 143 subscribers. More than 6,000 people visited the website homepage during this time.
Email has been the primary driver of traffic for the podcast, with social media and organic web traffic also playing a significant role. Ohio State’s student newspaper, The Lantern, featured the podcast launch in a recent story.
Podcast episodes are scheduled to launch every other Wednesday on osu.edu, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts. The podcast is produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications in partnership with Ohio State colleges and units.
